Hand-painted artwork that is part of a limited edition 1 of 1, with only one piece produced. It is signed by the artist, making it a unique and valuable piece for any art collector. The icon is painted in the best traditions of Byzantine icon painting on a linden board. The work is done in an ancient technique with natural pigments based on egg emulsion. The background and decoration are made of gold. It is carefully worked according to the style and criteria required by the old Byzantine school of iconography.

Russian Orthodox icon art is a centuries-old tradition of hand-painted religious imagery, created as objects of devotion, blessing and remembrance within the Orthodox Christian faith. Traditionally found in homes, churches and as treasured gifts, icons hold deep spiritual and cultural significance and are often passed down through generations.
