The timber is lime, linden, birch or alder, kiln-dried before each piece is hand-turned on a lathe and fitted uniquely to its matching half — the dolls nesting smallest first, all the way up. Each set is then individually hand-painted by a skilled artist and finished with protective lacquer, created to be enjoyed for years to come.
